Intel announced plans on August 10, 2026 to raise approximately $15 billion through a public stock offering, with underwriters holding a 30-day option for an additional $2.25 billion. The company said proceeds would fund general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures for AI data center chips, custom silicon, advanced packaging, and its foundry business. Intel has already raised its 2026 capital expenditure guidance to more than $20 billion as it invests in projects such as its Arizona and Ireland manufacturing expansions.
