June, a startup founded by former Salesforce executives, emerged from stealth with $20 million in pre-seed funding led by Marc Benioff’s Time Ventures, with backing from tech executives including Michael Dell and Aaron Levie. The company’s platform scans a company’s existing corporate infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and automatically guides organizations through implementing AI agents, offering an alternative to hiring forward-deployed engineers. Co-founder Efrat Rapoport noted that AI, paradoxically, increases demand for professional services, and June aims to simplify integration with legacy systems such as Salesforce and Workday.
