Anthropic told investors it is on track to report $10.9 billion in second-quarter 2026 revenue, up 127% from $4.8 billion in the first quarter, alongside a projected operating profit of roughly $559 million that would mark the company’s first profitable quarter. The company attributed the shift to strong demand for its coding tools, a more efficient tokenizer in Opus 4.7, and subsidized compute costs secured through equity arrangements with Google and Amazon, with compute spending per revenue dollar falling from 71 cents in the first quarter to 56 cents in the second. Anthropic cautioned investors that the profitability may not hold for the full year given planned infrastructure spending.
