KPMG published a report titled “Total Experience: Redefining Excellence in the Age of Agentic AI” in October 2025 to guide enterprise clients on AI adoption. A forensic review by AI-detection firm GPTZero found that only 5 of the report’s 45 citations were accurate, with the rest fabricated, mangled, or misattributed — including case studies falsely describing AI usage at UBS, the UK’s National Health Service, Swiss Federal Railways, and Transport for London, all of which told reporters the claims about them were untrue. KPMG withdrew the report and opened an internal review.
