Nvidia is reportedly in discussions to invest in AI search startup Perplexity as part of a funding round that would value the company at more than $30 billion, according to The Information. The potential valuation is a more than 50% increase from Perplexity’s roughly $20 billion valuation a year earlier. Perplexity’s annualized revenue has climbed above $750 million, up from less than $250 million at the start of 2026, driven in part by its Perplexity Computer AI agent product. The talks have not been finalized and no deal has been confirmed.
