AI dictation startup Wispr has raised $280 million in a Series B round led by Menlo Ventures at a $2 billion valuation, nearly tripling its previous valuation. Existing investors including Notable Capital and NEA participated alongside new backers Acrew, Forerunner, and Peak XV Partners. Beyond its core voice-to-text product, Wispr is expanding into meeting transcription with a newly launched note-taking tool and plans to develop additional interfaces for human-computer interaction.
