LayerRecall is a memory-routing mechanism for video generation that selectively retrieves historical context and injects it into specific transformer layers based on their demonstrated preferences for different temporal ranges. Cross-Horizon Prediction Matching (CHPM), a training approach using long-context supervision, improves the memory router without requiring extensive long-horizon video datasets, achieving strong results on multiple video-generation benchmarks while staying computationally efficient.
