OpenAI unveiled GPT-6 Astra, described as “the world’s most intelligent and aligned model,” featuring significant improvements in computer use, software engineering, and professional work capabilities. The model scored 98% on FrontierMath Tier 4 and operates roughly twice as fast at computer-use tasks as its predecessor. OpenAI began rolling out GPT-6 Astra to a limited set of organizations, with plans to expand availability to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users over the coming days through ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.
