Researchers introduce Recursive Code World Models (RCWM), a framework for reconstructing detailed 3D environments from a single image by representing scenes as executable code. The method uses a Recursive Scene Program representation paired with a construction solver that applies a global-local-global recursion strategy, letting fine-scale structures be refined independently while preserving overall scene coherence. Experiments show RCWM outperforms prior code-based reconstruction approaches, and ablation studies indicate that deeper recursive calls improve fine-detail reconstruction quality.
