Anthropic has entered a $35 billion, 15-year cloud-computing agreement with Lambda, an Nvidia-backed provider, to secure capacity at a 350-megawatt Texas data center being developed by Hut 8. Nvidia will hold the lease on the facility and supply the chips, while Lambda provides compute to Anthropic to meet growing demand for its Claude AI products. The deal is part of a broader series of computing agreements Anthropic has signed this year with providers including Nscale, Fluidstack, and SpaceX, together totaling more than $180 billion.
