The user created a second account that continued operating, and on February 10, 2026, they carried out a mass shooting at a secondary school in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, killing eight people including five students. The provincial government has filed a federal lawsuit alleging negligence and unsafe product design, and is seeking damages including funding to rebuild the school.
