Instinct, a startup building a personal AI agent that completes real-world tasks such as booking travel, paying bills, canceling subscriptions and ordering groceries, raised a $1 billion Series C led by Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Coatue at a $10 billion valuation. The valuation is four times the $2.5 billion mark the company reached just a month earlier via a $350 million Series B. Founder Noah Shinn said the company is focused on handling the “deeply personal nuances of everyday life,” as competition intensifies with rivals including Meta’s Muse assistant.
