According to research from AI detection platform Pangram, AI-generated content has become prevalent on social media, with roughly one in four long-form posts appearing entirely AI-authored. LinkedIn shows the highest prevalence at 41 percent of long-form content, while X follows closely with about 48 percent of posts either fully or partially AI-generated. The study, based on over one million posts from users who opted into data sharing through a browser extension, prompted Pangram’s CEO to warn that an internet flooded with undisclosed AI content is a bleak prospect.
