AIUC (Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company) raised $40 million in Series A funding led by Ribbit Capital with participation from First Harmonic, bringing its total funding to $55 million. The company, founded by Anthropic’s first product hire Rune Kvist and former METR COO Rajiv Dattani, builds AIUC-1, a certification and evaluation standard for AI agent security backed by insurance underwritten through Lloyd’s of London. Cursor, ElevenLabs, and UiPath have already adopted the AIUC-1 mark, and the new funding will extend the company’s audits to frontier models.
