Anthropic has opened a new office in Singapore, its fifth in the Asia-Pacific region, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information. The agreement covers cooperation on AI safety, security, and model evaluation, as well as research into AI adoption and its impact across the public and private sectors. Anthropic said Claude is already used by organizations including GovTech Singapore, Grab, and DBS, and that the new office is open and hiring.
