Box announced on September 10, 2026 an integration that lets paid ChatGPT users browse, search, and reference Box-stored enterprise content directly inside ChatGPT while Box’s existing permissions, security, and governance controls remain in place. The integration places Box files in the ChatGPT Library and supports folder browsing, file preview, @mentions, and Model Context Protocol actions. Box CEO Aaron Levie said the move makes ‘enterprise knowledge a seamless and secure part of the AI experience,’ with the feature rolling out to ChatGPT paid-tier users over the following days.
