BYD announced it will debut its first humanoid robot in early August 2026. The company intends to deploy the robots across its dealership network to introduce vehicles and conduct product demonstrations. According to BYD Executive Vice President Li Ke, the company aims to place two or three robots in every dealership and expects such robotic sales assistants to become commercially viable within one to two years.
