Groq announced a $350 million Series A funding round led by Disruptive, with participation from Nvidia, valuing the company at $3.5 billion. The round brings Groq’s recent funding total to $1 billion as the company shifts from an AI chipmaker toward a neocloud provider offering inference infrastructure. Groq operates 13 data centers worldwide and plans to scale operational capacity from 54 megawatts to more than 200 megawatts by 2027.
