London-based Humanoid has raised $152 million in Series A funding at a $1.35 billion valuation, becoming Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn and bringing its total funding to $270 million. The two-year-old company builds wheeled robots rather than bipedal ones, an approach it says enables faster European certification, and has secured production deals with Schaeffler and Bosch. Its KinetIQ platform coordinates robot fleets for industrial tasks and targets roughly 80% of human speed on certain operations.
