Tokyo-based CADDi, which uses AI to structure and connect fragmented industrial data such as engineering drawings and procurement records, raised $114 million in a Series D round that values the company at $1.2 billion, bringing its total funding to $234 million. New investors included Toyota’s growth fund Woven Capital and Salesforce Ventures, alongside existing backers Atomico and Globis Capital Partners. CADDi says its Manufacturing AI Data Platform is now used by more than half of the manufacturers in Japan’s Nikkei 225 and operates in 22 countries, and it will use the funds to expand into the US market.
