Meta announced on October 26, 2026 a plan to raise up to $95 billion in equity to fund its AI buildout, its largest fundraising to date. It will first raise $35 billion through underwritten offerings of Class A common stock and mandatory convertible preferred stock, followed by up to $60 billion via an at-the-market program. Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom expressed interest in buying up to $5 billion of the shares, and Meta now expects 2026 capital expenditures of $135 billion to $145 billion. Shares dipped modestly on the news amid investor concern over negative free cash flow.
