Meta is expanding its Hyperion data center campus in Richland Parish, Louisiana, from 2GW to 5GW of capacity, with planned investment now exceeding $50 billion. The company will contribute $1 billion toward local infrastructure improvements including roads and water systems, while partnering with Entergy on energy infrastructure such as natural gas plants and grid-scale batteries. Once operational, the campus is expected to support approximately 1,000 local jobs and deliver an estimated $2 billion in electricity savings to local customers over the next two decades.
