Microsoft expanded its Zero Trust for AI strategy by adding an AI pillar to its Zero Trust Assessment tool, evaluating organizations’ security controls for AI adoption. The company also added a DevSecOps pillar to its Zero Trust Workshop, comprising 15 control groups and 91 tasks to help development teams apply zero-trust principles from source code through cloud deployment. The updates target risks such as insecure code and vulnerable software components introduced through AI-assisted development.
