Runway has introduced Solaris, an Interface World Model that generates interactive software applications in real time by rendering frames continuously rather than relying on coded implementations. The system combines a video generation model with language processing to interpret user interactions such as clicks and drags, responding immediately without predefined screens or templates. In Runway’s user studies, participants preferred Solaris over coded interfaces in 61 to 71 percent of comparisons.
