RealPage and 14 major property management companies agreed to pay a combined $359.9 million to settle antitrust class-action claims alleging they used RealPage’s algorithmic pricing software — including its AI Revenue Management and YieldStar products — to exchange competitively sensitive pricing data and coordinate rent increases across millions of rental units nationwide.
The settlements, announced July 27, 2026, cover claims dating back to October 2018 and require the companies to stop requiring or encouraging landlords to accept the software’s suggested prices, among other reforms. The case builds on a related U.S. Department of Justice antitrust suit against RealPage.
