Anthropic, Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman officially launched Ode with Anthropic, a $1.5 billion enterprise AI services company built on the team from Fractional AI, which Anthropic acquired earlier in 2026. The venture pairs Claude models with in-house engineers to help midsize enterprises move beyond AI pilots into production deployments, competing with OpenAI’s similar deployment arm. Backers include Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Apollo, GIC and Sequoia, and the company is led by former Fractional AI co-founders Chris Taylor and Eddie Siegel.
