Apple Music will begin displaying a “Made With AI” label on tracks that labels, distributors, or other content providers identify as materially generated using artificial intelligence, with the rollout planned for later this year. The move makes AI disclosure mandatory in cases where AI created a substantial portion of a song, building on optional transparency tags Apple introduced earlier this year. The label will be visible to all listeners browsing the service, though record companies and distributors decide which tracks get tagged.
