Google has released Gemini 3.8 Flash, its third Flash-tier model update in about six weeks, with improvements to software engineering, agentic tasks, and multi-step reasoning. The model scores 59 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, up three points from Gemini 3.7 Flash, while keeping introductory pricing of $0.75 per million input tokens. Google also introduced Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, a cybersecurity-focused variant for vulnerability detection and automated patching available through its new Fairwind Program for government and critical-infrastructure users.
