Meta launched Muse, a personal AI agent available to U.S. users 18 and older, designed to help with tasks such as scheduling, shopping, and longer-term planning. The agent runs on a dedicated secure virtual machine and is reachable through a standalone app or WhatsApp, with the ability to send emails, book travel, and manage multi-step projects autonomously. Meta says safety and privacy were built into the platform from the start, framing Muse as the next step beyond chatbots toward CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s broader vision of personal AI superintelligence.
