Analog Devices announced on September 9, 2026 that it will acquire privately held Alif Semiconductor for $1.35 billion in cash, with up to $200 million in additional contingent payments. Alif develops low-power AI processors that combine on-device computing, sensor data, connectivity and security for consumer and industrial applications. The acquisition pairs ADI’s sensing, signal-processing and power-management technology with Alif’s AI processors so customers can build systems that analyze and respond to real-world data in real time. The deal is subject to antitrust review and is expected to close by the end of 2026.
