xAI released Grok 4.7, which it calls its most capable model yet for coding and knowledge work, built on a larger base model with a longer reinforcement-learning run and training weighted toward difficult, long-running tasks. The company says the model is better at verifying its own work and managing longer context, and it is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens under a 200k-token threshold. xAI also said Grok 4.7 incorporates an updated safety framework with improved resistance to jailbreaks and dangerous dual-use requests.
