Fireworks AI, a platform that lets developers fine-tune and deploy open-source AI models, raised $1.5 billion in a Series D round at a $17.5 billion valuation. The round was jointly led by Atreides Management, Index Ventures, and TCV, with participation from Nvidia and other investors. The company said its annualized revenue has surpassed $1 billion, with a customer base that includes Samsung Electronics and GitLab.
