Spur Intelligence, a cybersecurity startup founded in 2017 by former Defense Department engineers, has secured a $200 million funding round led by Insight Partners. The company’s technology helps enterprises distinguish legitimate human users from malicious bot traffic, VPNs, and other anonymization infrastructure. The round comes as bots now account for a growing share of internet activity, a challenge the fully bootstrapped, nine-year-old company aims to help organizations address.
