Cloudflare said that more than 50% of traffic across its network was non-human for the first time during the second quarter of 2026, a crossover that arrived months ahead of CEO Matthew Prince’s own forecast of early 2027. The company reported a 1,700% increase in daily AI agent requests over the prior year and posted second-quarter revenue of $696.1 million, up 36% year-over-year, while adding more than 80,000 paying customers. Management said it is positioning Cloudflare for continued growth in machine-to-machine traffic through developer tools, agent monetization products, and security offerings for AI workloads.
