LG Group and Nvidia signed a strategic partnership to collaborate on robotics, AI factories, and smart vehicles. LG plans to unveil a bipedal humanoid robot powered by Nvidia’s Jetson Thor computing platform and Isaac GR00T foundation model in the first quarter of next year, drawing on engineering from LG’s actuator, sensor, and battery subsidiaries. The companies will also deploy LG’s wheeled CLOiD robot at a Tennessee washing machine factory this year to validate performance in real manufacturing environments.
