Optical networking startup Lumilens emerged from stealth with more than $700 million in new Series C funding, bringing its total funding to roughly $900 million at a $5.51 billion valuation. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Bain Capital Ventures, Meritech, Seligman Ventures, and Spark Capital. The San Jose-based company develops silicon photonics technology to connect processors inside AI data centers and says it is already shipping its first product under a multi-billion-dollar agreement with an unnamed hyperscaler.
