Microsoft launched Microsoft Frontier Company, a new operating business dedicated to helping large enterprises deploy AI solutions built on Microsoft’s existing tools. The venture is backed by a $2.5 billion investment and will employ 6,000 industry and engineering experts. Commercial Business CEO Judson Althoff said the unit is intended to be the largest, most capable engineering organization of its kind in the industry, building on existing Microsoft relationships with clients such as the London Stock Exchange Group, Unilever, and Accenture.
