Tempus AI agreed to acquire cancer-monitoring company Personalis in a $1.5 billion deal, structured as an all-stock transaction with an option for Tempus to pay up to half in cash. Personalis shareholders will receive $16.25 per share, a 6 percent premium to the prior closing price.
