OpenAI has acquired NextSlide, an AI presentation startup founded by Ahmed Beshry that converted prompts and documents into polished presentations. The NextSlide team will now work on developing ChatGPT rather than maintaining the standalone product. This is Beshry’s second founder exit, following his earlier sale of Caper AI to Instacart in 2021, and follows OpenAI’s pattern of acquiring small teams with working products to fold into ChatGPT’s feature set.
