A driverless Zoox robotaxi with no passengers aboard collided with a Nissan Murano on Las Vegas Boulevard near the south end of the Strip; the Murano’s driver was taken to the hospital. Nevada Highway Patrol closed lanes to investigate, and fault had not been determined at the time of reporting. The crash occurred the same day Nevada’s 100-vehicle cap on Zoox’s fleet was set to expire, weeks after the company began charging for rides in the city.
